Rare example of a gentleman's shaving mirror. Circa 1900.
This remarkable mirror displays high-quality turned construction to the tripod, column pedestal, and mirror plate, which gives it a very eye-catching form.
The adjustable mirror itself is in the form of a horseshoe with metal studding and there is a small table beneath. This mirror also has candle-holders.
This is a lovely piece of domestic history and offers a fascinating insight into male grooming history.
