Tall Zinc Lined Walnut Planter

Wonderful English tall walnut planter or jardinière. 

This attractive planter retains its original zinc-lined insert. It is beautifully carved throughout, with wonderful neoclassical gilt accents and a particularly decorative frieze. 

It rests on moulded tapering legs with gilded lotus leaf clasps at the top and rosettes to the bottom. 

This piece could have many uses in today's home, from planter to champagne bucket, and it a great immense country house grandeur.
