19th Century painted commode.

Dating from the 19th Century and of French origin, this painted commode has an overhanging top. The overhanging top sits above an arrangement of two short and two long drawers with mouldings around the drawer edges and re-entrant sides to the mouldings.

The drawers flanked by reeded canted corners supported on short square tapered legs.

A very attractive and eye-catching commode of good proportions that would make a graceful and attractive addition to any interior.
