Painted Florentine Cupboard

Painted 19th Century Florentine cupboard.

Of 19th Century Italian origin, this cupboard retains its original paint which is a very attractive soft dusky blue to the lower part of the doors with a repeated band of blue diamonds. This diamond decoration runs horizontally above with a pale cream ground colour to the upper section. 

Of imposing proportions, the twin tall doors and the cupboard's overall vertical emphasis and delicate frieze give this piece great elegance.
