Pierced Metal Church Chandelier

Striking Easter European chandelier, dating to the early 19th Century. 

This chandelier would have originally hung within an Eastern European orthodox church. It would have been beautifully lit with candles which would have created a fantastic ambiance. 

This lovely piece has signs of wear and tear which are commensurate with age; this has left the chandelier with a 'muted' colour palette. 

It has wonderful pierced detailing throughout which cast fantastic shadows whilst also increasing its decorative charm. 

A wonderful chandelier with minor repairs, nevertheless a substantial and striking piece.
