Regency Century Austin and Seeley Sundial

An early 19th century pot bellied, marble sundial pedestal, later painted, with a rare stamped bronze sundial plate by Austin and Seeley, dated 1861. Only one item of their ware has been found to be stamped to this date, that being a pair of eagles in the Swiss gardens, Shuttleworth, so to find this bronze, name stamped sundial is truly are rare find.
