Seating Set by Marco Zanuso
Set of lounge seating by Marco Zanuso. This set comprises a pair of two-seat sofas and a pair of armchairs.
These chairs are the 'Interlude' model, designed by Zanuso in the late 1980s. The designs were to mark the 75th anniversary of Poltrona Frau, who manufactured the furniture.
Marco Zanuso (1916-2001) was an Italian architect and designer, who trained at the Polytechnic University of Milan. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Domus magazine at one point and produced many spectacular furniture designs.
Each piece in this lounge set combines vivacious high-quality red leather with bent metal frames.
These compact and comfortable chairs represent a significant piece of design history and make for a fabulous contemporary feature.
