Set of four wonderful handpainted majolica fruit plates recently mounted and framed.
Dated to the 19th Century, these plates are tin-glazed majolica earthenware and are painted by Cantagalli with a vine type painted trim, depicting plums, damsons or quinces.
All plates are stamped with Cantagalli's cockerel mark which dates them to the 19th Century.
