Swedish Commode from Smaland

Early 19th Century three drawer chest of drawers from Smaland.

This wonderful chest of drawers has been scraped back to reveal the original wooden structure.

This commode was sent to artisan restorers in Sweden who re-touched the paint but kept most of the original, blue marbled paintwork intact.

With four drawers, this piece stands on four tapered squared feet.

A lovely, timeless piece of storage furniture that is perfect for the bedroom or dressing room.
