Art Deco Swivel Lid Cocktail Shaker By Gorham & Co Dated 1922

A rare early Art Deco American silver plated swivel lid cocktail shaker with maker's mark stamp to the base for Gorham & Co, New York. This unusual cocktail shaker, reminiscent in shape of a Penguin, has a date symbol to represent a year of manufacture of 1922. The lift-off lid swivels to open and close the integrated pouring spout. This is a larger scale cocktail shaker which would make 1.5 pints (normally for one or two cocktails at a time).
