Art Nouveau Green Glass Serving Bowl & Five Matching Dessert Bowls
Smart set of German or possibly Dutch Art Nouveau serving bowl with five matching dessert bowls in an attractive olive green glass.
These lovely bowls are hand wrought with applied glass dots, the large serving bowl has a polished pontil base, the dessert bowls with waisted stems to the base. This theme of glassware, commonly retailed by Liberty London and Morris & Co Ltd at the end of 19th Century/early 20th Century was created to satisfy the trend for Dutch revival glass from the 16th/17th Century.
Now antiques themselves, this beautiful dessert set has a distinctive and stylish look which works so well in 21st Century.
