Arts & Crafts Carved Oak Panelling

Spectacular Arts & Crafts carved oak panelling. 

These panels were designed by W.W.Williamson of The Handicrafts Studio in Taunton, who specialised in wood-carving and metalwork. 

The panels depict vigour, hope, hunger, idleness, joy, and war, with dragons as the central theme. 

Each has the theme inscribed below the relevant carved design. 

These have recently been removed from a cottage in Cornwall and are in need of very minor restoration. 

The Arts & Crafts movement revived the popularity of panelling, preferring simple oak designs.

These are a more intricate and rare example, and offer a great opportunity to incorporate history and character into your home
