Contemporary ‘Modernist’ Moroccan Carpet
A contemporary Moroccan carpet, hand-knotted in high-grade wool, inspired by highly-sought after Mid-Century Modern Berber weavings, made popular by such designers as Alvar Aalto and Le Corbusier.
The natural abrash – or, colour variation – lent to this carpet by the wool, lends a sense of depth and charm to its otherwise stripped-back, minimalist design. It features an earthy palette, including tones of grey, ivory, caramel and muted chocolate brown, with a subtle irregularity which adds a feeling of playful spontaneity.
A sophisticated carpet, rare in this square format, to add character and style to any setting.
