The top with foliate scenes of birds in foliage with vines and bunches of fruit on an ochre background with a darker border and original blue bole showing underneath.

The base with a shallow frieze all around raised on substantial square legs with an H stretcher, all decorated in ochre with maroon lines.

A spectacular and rare item with wonderful colours and details. Circa 1880.
