This basked features a rolled rim and its original woven rattan handle. The bowl of the basket has charming wear and patina.

Dr Christopher Dresser was a Scottish designer and design theorist. He is now widely recognised as one of the first and most significant independent British designers and was a pivotal figure in the Aesthetic Movement.
