Early 19th Century Swedish oak commode, circa 1820. 

With a gentle serpentine front, this commode offers three graduating drawers with their original cast brass handles and escutcheons. With a carved and dipped apron and resting on short cabriole legs. 

This piece has been finished in later matte black paint which gives it a great presence. 

This commode has lovely small proportions and it will make a useful and stylish addition to a bedroom or sitting room.
