A very stylish early 19th century Italian occasional table. The top is decorated with simulated marbles and hanging foliate carving and carved shells underneath.
The elaborately carved base with scrolled and foliate carved caps leading down to a central boss, mounted with further foliate carving and rosettes, the legs flowing off from the boss, with similar carving and terminating in scrolled toes.
