French 18th Century Block Printed Quilted Panel

French 18th Century unusual block printed quilted panel, that was once part of a set of bed hangings.

A joyful design of patterned bleu de pastel and madder roundels surrounded by a striped squiggles resist printed on a madder ground. 

Bordered in a small scale indigo and madder red check and backed in a rustic hemp cloth. 

In an 'as found' and antique overall good condition.
