An outstanding French 18th Century floor standing mirror.
Dating back to the late 18th Century 'Directoire' period.
With original mercury glass plates. The mirror is made from split glass and is all original. With lovely wear and foxing to the mercury.
The gilding also has beautiful wear all over. Later backboards.
