19th Century French painted bed canopy with beautiful circa 1820-30s printed linen coverings of large-scale soft madder and bleu de pastel flowers on meandering branches and bamboo.


Trimmed in red linen and backed in hemp. In good and as-found antique condition with some faded watermarks on the cloth and some discolouration throughout on the background of the design.
