Late 19th Century French bronze cylindrical lantern, in the Louis XVI style.
With a good patina and curved glass panels. The upper part of the four-panel glazed body features ribbon-tied pendants joined by husk swags.
The lantern has been rewired to UK standards, with a four-light aperture for bulbs. This is an elegant and eye-catching lantern, that would make an atmospheric addition to any home.
