French 19th Century mahogany semainier chest of drawers with a marble top.
This beautiful chest has a grey marble top with white veining. It offers seven drawers with turned wooden handles.
Finished on a plinth base with stepped block feet at the front.
Semainiers originated in France in the 18th Century. Traditionally offering seven drawers, they were used for storing lingerie and linen.
Fantastic colour and patina throughout. This classic chest is a great fit for any home.
