An exceptional, grande scale 19th Century English Regency mahogany drum table of considerable size with its original tooled leather top.
The frieze has four drawers alternating with four faux drawers.
The whole is supported by a turned column and elegant base of four, reeded splay legs, terminating in original brass castors.
Drum tables are sometimes also known as 'rent tables' as it's believed that landlords used them as a desk for keeping accounts and collecting rent money.
