Pair of imposing Heraldic beast statues.
This pair were probably cast around the 1930s, as a copy of a Medieval original. They are made from a composition material over an iron armature, and have wonderful textured patina.
With some losses commensurate with age, that does not detract from the striking aesthetic of these beasts.
