Howard & Sons Burlington Sofa
A large and very comfortable down-filled Howard & Sons sofa with particularly deep seat and wonderful serpentine side profile. Circa 1910.
The Burlington is a really elegant and very generously sized model that works as a complement to the classic ‘Bridgewater’ style group of chairs, and is raised on the classic square tapered mahogany front legs with original stamped castors.
Howard & Sons, established in 1820, was renowned as the best in upholstery furniture during the 19th century and is still highly coveted today.
Their sofas and armchairs combine comfort with unique design and their timeless style is a compliment to any interior.
