Italian Credenza By Paolo Buffa
Stunning mid 20th Century wooden credenza by the renowned Italian designer Paolo Buffa.
This piece has a detailed carving of wild deer in the centre panel, perfectly proportioned doors, drawers and solid wood concave handles. Paolo Buffa was an Italian architect and furniture designer who was active from the 1930's to the 1950's. He was born in Milan in 1903 and trained as an architect at the Politecnico di Milano. Buffa became known for his elegant and sophisticated furniture designs, which were characterized by their attention to detail, high-quality materials, and impeccable craftsmanship.
Today, Buffa's furniture designs are highly sought-after by collectors and design enthusiasts around the world, and his work continues to inspire contemporary designers.
