The vivid decoration includes exotic birds, oriental figures and swirling foliate decoration. All are set against a deep navy ground.
The interior is also painted with pretty florals and offers a glass shelf with three drawers below.
This cabinet rests on a beautifully carved gilt stand with an elaborate foliate frieze and pronounced scroll legs with upturned scroll feet.
The whole terminates on a stylish black lacquered base with concave sides and further giltwood feet underneath.
This cabinet retains its original key.
