Bottle Holder by Mathieu Matégot

Documented French rigitule bottle holder by Mathieu Matégot circa 1950. 

With space for eight bottles, this holder has a carrying handle and rests on a circular rigitule base. 

Rigitule is a type of perforated sheet metal that Matégot patented and it forms a key element of his designs. 

This bottle holder is in good original condition. It will be a wonderful vintage accessory in today's home.
