20th Century Italian Lacquered Ladies Writing Desk

Italian ladies writing desk/dressing table.
Lacquered in an oxblood red colour with serpentine front detail and a blind paneled drawer. The drawer flanks a central cupboard door that is raised on cabriole legs.
This desk is superbly hand-decorated with acanthus leaves and flowers. Stamped with the original maker's mark 'Del Tasso - Roma'... with original locks and keys.
Comes apart in two pieces for transportation.
A fantastic piece of boudoir furniture that is extremely decorative and useful.
NB. one drawer (bottom left) does not open.
