19th Century pharmacist hand-blown display jar of large proportions.
The jar is reverse painted and gilded with a white background and a royal warrant with a banner beneath the crest saying “MAGNESIA”; probably made by Lynch & Co London.
Originally from 'The Royal Pharmaceutical Society.'
There are signs of some loss to the painted crest and missing the lid but this has been reflected in the price.
