Large 20th Century French Majolica Asparagus Cradle Server Dish

A splendid, large early 20th century French, Majolica asparagus cradle serving dish in a design by Creil & Montereau. 

Beautifully decorative with large twin-handled tray base of textured leaves holding a raised curved cradle of cream asparagus spears. 

This striking serving piece has no chips, but does have an old repaired crack. Otherwise still in good working order, large enough to hold a feast of asparagus spears!
