Late 18th Century Louis XVI mahogany secretaire a abattant with the impressed 19th Century retailer stamp of the renowned London makers and antiques dealers Edwards & Roberts.
A beautifully rich colour and patina to the mahogany with gilt detailing and original brass mounts and fittings. Featuring its original shaped grey marble top and a single drawer at the top and three further drawers in the base.
The locking fall front has its original tooled leather writing surface, the interior fitted with seven more drawers and six pigeon holes.
An area at the bottom, deep enough to accommodate a laptop, makes it a useful home office work space.
