Louis XVI gilded French bergére armchair, circa 1780.
This smart armchair features a square back with padded armrests which terminate in fluted scrolls and are supported on fluted baluster uprights.
The bowfront channelled seat rail is supported on circular tapering stop-fluted legs and headed by square rosette panels.
Recovered in charcoal coloured boucle.
