Late 19th Century king-size bedstead from the Montebourg region of Normandy.
Solid hand-carved oak, now scrubbed back and bleached.
The headboard measures 139.5cm tall and the footboard measures 79cm tall.
The original side rails (extended) take a standard 150 x 200 cm mattress.
The frame has been newly fitted out with wooden slats and a centre bar.
