Pierre De Clausade, 1910 - 1976, born in Paris in 1910, Clausade was a contemporary of Picasso, Braque & Matisse, and his cloudscape paintings have an undeniable quality and uniqueness. Pierre de Clausade exhibited regularly at the Societe des Beaux Arts and became a member of the Salon d'Hiver. Clausade was awarded the Prix de Poésie and in 1953 the Paris Salon awarded him the renowned Medaille d'Argent.
