This fascinating chart illustrates, with samples, the processes involved in producing linens and hemp from the raw fibre to woven fabric. 

Accompanying each example is scientific descriptive text by C. Dorangeon. Lithography by Charles Delagrave, Paris. This chart was for the Musée Industriel Scolaire and was one of several educational charts. 

Some wear and scuffing consistent with age and two minor components missing. 

Presented in sage green painted box frames.
