19th Century English Gothic Oak Armchair

19th Century English oak gothic armchair carved in solid oak.

Having a typically angled, pointed arch over its high back with traditional Gothic arches and finials. Good deep proportions have a padded back with an inset and padded armrests with barely twisted supports.

The front legs are also barely twisted with small brass castors. The back legs are outswept as an extension to the frame.

This would make an ideal desk chair or reading chair.
