19th Century English Cockerel Weathervane

A weathered and distressed sheet metal cockerel from Shropshire with expressive head and stylised tail.

The base of the body has pitted and rusted over time, more significantly on one side than the other, but it retains its integrity.

Standing on a later block of aged wood.

This is a very striking piece that would look fantastic displayed on a dining table or in a kitchen setting.
