20th Century Fishing Village Painting

Very large 20th Century fabulous oil on panel painting of a fishing village originating from the wall of a restaurant in Nice, in the South of France.

The scene depicted is wonderfully, atmospheric and full of activity set on the shore of the stone walled village and fort with fishermen leaving and returning in their boats, another repairing his fishing nets while his dog looks on. 

It is in lovely worn condition and the colours are beautiful.
