Large marine fossil sculpture with metal stand.

Stunning decorative piece, comprised of the well-known ammonite fossils as well as orthoceras. 

Ammonite, distinctive for their ribbed spiral-form shell, lived in the sea between 240-65 million years ago. Their name comes from the Greek ram-horned god, Ammon. 

Orthoceras were a genus of nautiloid cephalopod, restricted to marine limestones of the Baltic states. Their name translates as 'straight horn.' 

Both types of fossil are very beautiful and colourful, as is the stone background. With a sturdy black metal base, this is a wonderful monument to marine life and a striking sculptural piece.
