SKU
DA2816385
French early 20th Century ship model of the Amiral Baudin.
The Amiral Baudin was a class of ironclad barette ships, built in the late 1880s. The class comprised two ships, the Formidable and the Amiral Baudin.
These ships served with the Mediterranean Fleet for most of their active careers, before they were withdrawn from service by 1903 in the wake of new pre-dreadnought battleships.
This detailed model has the name of the ship on the side and lovely original painted decoration.
This is a lovely piece of history and an interesting display piece for any interior.
