A set of four 19th Century French iron garden chairs from the famous iron factories of Arras in Northern France.

This model has beautifully perforated seats in the Art Nouveau style. The finish is 'as found' which means that you can see all the layers of paint they have been painted over the years.

This set is an early model and they have the eponymous horses-hooved feet.

Circa 1890.
