French 18th Century walnut buffet deux corps.
The deeply moulded and arched cornice sits above a pair of panelled doors with faceted brass hinges. The doors open to reveal a spacious interior with two shelves on either side.
The low-waisted base offers a further two panelled doors with a single shelf on each side. Both sides of the two sections are also panelled.
Attractive chamfered corner mouldings adorn the top and bottom, giving this cupboard great presence. Standing on squashed bun feet.
This buffet deux corps, or 'buffet with two bodies,' has a fantastic rich colour and patina.
