19th Century Walnut Vestry Cabinet

19th Century flamed walnut chapel vestry cabinet. 

This cabinet is exquisitely made, offering four drawers as well as a cupboard. The two doors are gilded with 'St Marys Sacristry.' The sacristry was a room for Priests to store items of worship. The lid is gilded with 'VADE AD DEUM' which translates as 'go to God.'

All drawers have brass pull handles, and the two doors have a lock and drop bolt. 

This is a fantastic decorative and historical piece.
