Nautical Styled Oval Porthole Mirror

Unusual rope and hessian framed mirror in the manner of Audoux Minet.

This mirror features its original oval glass and is framed by a seagrass mount that is wrapped in rope. 

Audoux Minet was a French design partnership in the late 1940s and continued to work through until the mid-1960s. They were known for their unusual use of rope and seagrass to elevate their designs.

This mirror is in great condition for its age and shall continue to age beautifully.
