Fabulous hanging light sign from the Gucci flagship store in Milan.
This is a wonderful piece of memoribilia from one of the most iconic fashion houses in the world.
Guccio Gucci was a pioneering fashion designer, opening his first stores in Florence in the 1920s.
The first Milan flagship store arrived in 1951, just two years before Guccio Gucci's death in 1953, on the Via Montenapolene.
This was around the time that the green-red-green web became the company's distinctive hallmark.
This hanging light would make a fantastic statement piece in an interior. It would be a particularly amazing feature in a dressing room.
