Original Photograph of Unidentified Male by Karl Lagerfeld
Original 20th Century gelatin print by Karl Lagerfeld.
Karl Lagerfeld was a German artist, fashion designer, and photographer who was the creative director at Chanel for over 35 years.
Karl was fascinated by techniques that were either re-discovered from the past or later developments. He used gelatin printing to capture the unique technicality and beauty within his imagery.
He once said, "What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that's gone forever, impossible to reproduce".
This wonderful print is of an unknown male model in Lagerfeld's studio.
It originally came from Eric Wright's personal collection in the 1980's-90s.
A fantastic image that suits classic and contemporary interiors alike!
