19th Century Breakfront Bookcase in Original Paint

Fantastic neoclassical breakfront bookcase. Scottish, circa 1830-40.
This bookcase has wonderful presence and is topped with an architectural pediment cornice.
The top section is comprised of two very attractive central glazed doors, with two further doors to the set back wings.
The interior is painted a lovely blue colour and offers several shelves.
The bottom section offers panelled doors with further shelving. Resting on a plain plinth base.
Decorative moulding visible to the interiors of both sections.
This bookcase has been scraped back to its original painted surface and retains its original glazing, with just one minor scratch and one small crack.
This is a beautiful piece of furniture that will truly transform any room and offer useful storage.
