French 19th Century painted breakfront commode.
This pretty chest features three long drawers with decorative metal handles to each end and unusual carved ovals to the central breakfront section.
The sides are reeded and the piece is finished with an architectural stepped apron. Resting on stepped block feet.
The creamy-coloured paint has been refreshed at some point in this piece's life. It has since aged beautifully and distressed just the right amount.
