Pair of George III Gilt Chinoiserie Mirrors
SKU
MI0916130
Beautiful pair of late 18th Century George III giltwood mirrors.
These ornate mirrors exhibit a restrained chinoiserie influence, with a pagoda form and the frame decorated with rocks, foliage and water.
The original gilt is nicely worn with a lovely deep patina. Both retain their original mirror plates, with light spotting and foxing adding to their decorative appeal.
In generally good condition, with some minor historic restoration to the gilding, plates and back boards.
This is a fantastic pair of mirrors that will elevate any interior with their refined grandeur.
